4- 6 oz salmon fillets - rinse and pat dry
Place fillets in a foil lined baking dish sprayed with cooking spray.
Stir together in a small saucepan: 1/4 cup packed brown sugar 2 Tablespoons soy sauce 2 Tablespoons hot water 2 Tablespoons miso (soybean paste)
Whisk together until all dissolved and pour over salmon. Place under broiler and broiler, basting a couple of times until fish easily flakes; about 10 minutes.
Sprinkle with fresh chopped chives.
Serve with mashed sweet potatoes and a green salad.
